10/26/02... 5:21 pm... been the longest stretch i've been home with my parents for awhile today... aint too bad... well some good some bad haha... lessee... i still should one of these days write about my trip... but eh... been busy all day choring around... just call me mr. vacuum :-p... that adn writing letters to india.... it's really kinda frustratign begin stuck at like 10 year old's literacy level for bengali... but i've given up and just started spelling stuff phonetically lol... tonight we got our cast party for the play... not really interested in going cuz i got slight resentment towards some... ahh well... saw city of lost children again last night... i think it's a really cool movie, but u have to actively be watching it... kept getting interrupted with my stupidness (locked my keys in my car haha, but no one knew.. well i guess they would now if they read this haha)... newayz it's about time to shower... hope all is having good weekend...

10/20/02... 9:21 pm... gonna be flying this time tomorrow morning :)... hehe packed in record time :)... suitbags are awesome... my goal is tonight is to reaarange some stuff so i can slide a sleeping bag in between the rolled case... that would be muy perfecto... so started up working on sundays now.. wasnt too bad.. although starting at 10 blows... but did get to hang with lillian yeah :).... hehe.. had an eventful weekend... super eventful.... friday night went out to east la, then to hollywood at the whiskey where we decided to checkout the bands playing there... not exaclty my tastes i suppose... soem sorta metal punk bands was the theme of the night ahh well had fun just chilling with people... then hung out andwatched the godfather til the wee hours of hte morning... and then... well i finally SLEPT... oh man.. it was a good one... like 5:30AM to 2PM solid... hahah was very very nice.. but then got up and ran around and finally ended up at newport north.. much fun with the taboo & pictionary AND CONTRA (man i love that game)... was bummed i missed out on the whole dya of sports... but did catch the world series game one... sucks angels lost.. but they did well tonight :)... heheh but man i love pictionary & taboo... newayz gonna try hitting up bed eventually... oh yeah had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner... do you have any idea how much i like them? especially just the peanut butter part.. ;).. if u ever want to buy me dinner or lunch, just give me a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk... and i'd be ecstatic :)... that or steak :-p...
10/17/02... 3:08 am... man i have no solid sleeping anymore... sucky sucky... so today i did somethign i have never done befroe.... bought THREE cd's hahahaha.... picked up carnival by wyclef, Discovery by Daft Punk... and the final cd... the one i went to hte store for... the one i've been lookign forward too... the one that hopeufully spread the dopeness of one of my favorite artists... Jason Mraz's Wating For My Rocket to Come... HOORAY!!! :)... it'd be cool if he blew up... hehe... work was good today... i surprised myself by relearning the first 5 weeks of bio 97 in like 2 hours today hahah... mendel, that crazy guy :-p... so today was day two with my mom around... me and dad managed fine haha... jusr reheated when hungry lol... so was talkign to a lot of people from last year... brought on the nostalgia again... i sometimes wonder how long stuff stays with u... i mean i still have really good and strong feelings about high school... aside from sophomore year, tha twas kidna lame hahaha... except for mr. lopez's spanish III class... yeah... otherwise it wasn't too hot... although... english with rose wasn't too bad... she used to make you write ten sentences if u broke one of her classroom rules... i remember i'd swear every once in ahwile and it'd be no big deal, cuz hte sentences coudl be about anythign at all... so i'd just make up stories hahaha... lessee... dangleis's class was laame... Planning & Guidance...alli learned was how to play street craps from the guy who sat behind me... bio was lame... although i had an awesome scheme in that class that benefitted many a person... actually 6th period PE was dope too... hmmm maybe it wasnt so bad :-p... yeah i liked advanced math that year too... hmm i wonder why i keep thinking sophomore year sucked... must think on this... and perhaps recreate the old and now improved sophomore year in my dreams... g'night all...
10/15/02... 1:19 am... ok folks so i tried to go to bed and that aint happenign... i'm just feeling awake right now... so anyways as i was staring at the celiing i remembred i had forgetton to write about my antropological immersion experience last thursday night... so i roll over to raja's like at 1 in the morning cuz he said some of his friends were coming over to watch some anime stuff all night long... so i was donw for that after all dont work til 3 lol.. newayz so i go over and we head on over to his tv room... they got a tight as flatscreen bigscreen... so yeah they pop in this anime called Ping Pong Club... and man this shit was crazy... and the just night was very very strnge... see his two friends, and raja too know a lot oabout a lot of different anime stuff and just hearing all these references and allusions to tons of stuff, bu tno knowing waht they were alluding to or using metaphors and stuff... so i had a kick outta just listenign to their conversations... but the anime... holy cow...i cant describe any show that's like it... it's i dunno some sorta saved by the bell crossed with beavis and butthead but just twisted and weird and "japanese-humor?"... so we started watchign and for the next 4 hours i was pretty much motionless... got totallly absorbed into the freaking thing after awhile... like i started laughign along constanlty, and some stuff tha twas fazing me before started becomign what i expected as norm... BUT there was still just some crazy stuff that amde everyoen just kinda look up in just befuddlement and looka t each ohter and just quizicallly laugh hehe... but yeah... it's just weird that depravity can be funny in certain ways... ugh i'm going to hell or the equivalent of... but newayz the anime though it was also incredilby clever... with like image/wordplay... man it was an experience... lol and i guess i could actually call that the start of my weekend... cuz i only slept for like 2 hours and then had to help out all day for parents... hit up work real quick then had the weekend adventures... okies... time to roam once more...
10/14/02... 11:07 pm... hahah i guess some euphoria has worn off now lol... i really can't describe to you how it felt when i realized where i'd be sitting for the game... the usher just laughed at us hehe... so newayz yeah went to the clipper game to cap off quite a weekend of stuff and things... so let's jump back in time... to friday i suppose... friday night went to go see jack johnson... had mixed feelings about the concert... basically i was going cuz a friend had asked, and figured it was a way to spend some quality time with her... plus i like the guys music too lol... but unfortunately it wasnt really that great of a concert going experience i'd say... mainly cuz well his music is super mellow... and he's really not that animated so sitting really far back doesnt really add to the music experience i mean i can get the same from just listenign to the cd... BUT what was good was hearing glove & special sauce they were more fun to watch and had pretty cool music... the definite highlight was when ben harper came on for the encore to play flake and another song... oh my god he is amazing... the camera just focused on him playing that crazy slide guitar... was just incredible... so after the concert was over... we got out fairly fast cuz we parked like a mile away for free so no traffic to fight through to get out hehe... that's one thign i dont like about concerts... leaving them hehe... i remember one time my car freakign overheated cuz it was standing idle for soooo long haha... newayz i sped on over to the big bengali cultural festival and just chilled for awhile and then went home as a family hehe.. parents and sis had been there all night... got home and well i havent felt that tired in a loooong time... i mean i could barely function... dunno why though.. so woke up saturday... and man big day time that day... play was gonna be that night... and i was looking forward to seeing everyone... oh err i guess i wont really be following that earlier outline... gonna skip over stuff like the sweatshirt (if u wanna know ask me some other time i guess... it's kinda lame why it's stickign in my head)... newayz so got to the puja and went through the motions... and the just hangin out and chillin began... actually helped out a lot with serving food... i actully like doign it cuz i get to see everyoen as the walk by to get their food hehe... it's a fun way to pitch in... although i heard that people got bitched at during hte night shift which is way fucked up... considering it's all volunteer stuff... newayz after lunch there was no annual soccer game, mainly cuz no ball or field to play on.. hehe so i took 7 ohters to get soem boba... good old life plaza (arcadia one) buy one get one free deal was nice hehe and i felt so good even treated everyone... although i've got a gripe about that... if someone goes out of their way to fuckign get you something for free you have no right to complain about it all, you didnt have to go or even take the free drink, so i dont see why u'd need to go and talk shit about it being lame afterwards... newayz... got back and it took like 1/2 hour to freakign find a mcdonalds in downtown pasadena... needed to get soem chicken nuggets as props for the play hahah... newayz went back and then i of course met backstage at the time we were told to... but of course i was the only one really even there so then i heard it got pushed back 1/2 hour... still nothign... i mean i think it was just bad from teh start of the night... newayz the play well just didnt go well at all... luckily i didnt mess up at all.. but iman i had soo many lines skipped cuz i mean jeebus... i think i was the only one that had memorized my lines at all it seemed like... soo many mistakes...i started getting disgusted with it all like midplay... it was pretty bad... although i guess it looked a lot worse from my point of view since i knew how thigns were supposed to go... but the audience still enjoyed it i suppose... but man it just left ar eally bad taste in my head... pretty much ruined the whole day.. got me all somber... and everytime someone said "you did a good job" i just wanted to yell back and say... how can u like that piece of crap that just happened... i dunno i dont think i really ever wanna do it with the same people in charge i guess... but who knows... newayz as usual it took FOREVER to figure out what to do afterwards... well what takes for ever is everyone still goign aroudn trakcign down their paretns and asking/begging permission to go out and then there are those who wont make a firm decision ever (i probably was fitting in that category by that time... i think i just wante dto go home and sleep, but was starvign) so we tracked down a denny's but on the way found a much closer open food place... so ate and went home... sunday though was much better... just chilled all day long.... watched the little kids perform... ANGELS WON!!!!... adn then deb rolls up with the clipper ticket offer... and goddamn... Section 108, row 8, seats 1-4... ON THE Floor... i was just breathless haha... after the game headed down to irvine to get some dinner with friends... and then callled it a weekened... and that's all there is to say... haha just kiddint i'm sure i left out a grip... probably some on purpose lol... newayz... time to prep for tomorrows classes... that and gotta get up early to say g'bye to mom.. she's going ot some conference in reno... so it's me and my dad on our own for 2 days lol... luckily there's enough food in the fridge lol... oh yeah speaking of food... i've decided grocery stores are just fascinating... i had some tiem to killl when i wnet shopping today for ma, so i just kinda took my time and looked at everything... there's a lot of stuff in grocerty stores... i mean LOTS of stuff.. i'm amazed tha tpeople even buy some of the stuff... one thing i do like aobut grocerty shoopping for my mom is that i always end up bring back some good stuff thath she didnt need but i know she likes haha... today was some King's Hawaaian Bread... that stuff is SOOOOOOOOOO good i could like down a whole loaf by myself haha... it's so soft and sweeet and good and delicious lol... newayz... oh yeah one sucky thing lately... dad didnt renew the super package thign we had on the dish, so basically back to the quivalent of basic cable... which kinda sux cuz i lost a lot of hte chennels i was wathcing.... maybe i'll pay for the upgrade myself lol... hmmm lessee other randomness... i really like indian clothes lol... i rocked a panjabi to the clipper game adn dinner afterwards... ireally like wearing them cuz they are all comfortable, plus girls tend to look good in indian clothes as well haha... speakign of girls... one of the funniest things i heard was one of hte hired secuirty guys had asked this one girl how old she was... the guy's like 27... and the girls freaking 12... jeebus that's just wrong... haha other related issues... haha my sis had an admirer all weekend so i got make fun of her for that lol... oh yeah sunday was awesome cuz of this one card trick... i watched soo many people fall victim it was hilarious... especially cuz of how confident some are when they think they are at that moment... lessee oh yeah... sunday though other than the clipper my favorite part was gettin some coffee with bittu... we had just been asked to sit and just watch people but i just ran away and drove off to get soem coffee to avoid it haha... we went to this one place called Tiffany's Cafe on colorado... and thsi place seriously ahd the most open floor area i've ever seen in a store before.... like u coudl play basketball pretty ez hehe... heard some funny stories about his usc law school stuff... thursday nights they ahve a bar review hahah... no notes or books needed... lol... newayz adios fo rnow...
10/14/02.... 1:14 AM.... OH MY GOD or if more appropriate... Hay Ma Durga... i had tonight the most incredible, and basically once in a lifetime (for average folks, although i'm hoping this won't be once in a lifetime) event of sitting on the floor at a professional basketball game... DEB IS AWESOME :)... oh man i'm actually completely tired out so i guess i'll be postponing contemplationg yet a nothe rnight lol...

10/9/02... 10:40 pm... hmm only 2 days... seems like it's been a lot longer... tonight while eating dinner i got to watch talespin... man i love that show... except for becky (baloo's boss) she's just lame... ahh but today balloo singlehandedly defeated the evil pandas of panda-la... all with some fancy flying and some ice cream.... so i found out today not eating anything for like 24 hours doesnt help a hangover... and actually induced some mild gag vomitting :-p... i think i've lost my drinking ability... no constancy of the dorm life anymore haha.... but last night was much fun at least i thought, i was kinda bummed that my whole idea to organize an olive garden thing was for naught at least on my end haha i heard others went though... i've realized there are drawbacks to working the evenings hehe... speaking of work... u ever see that simpsons episode where lisa steals all the teachers editions and the teachers are helpless? i think i'd be that way too sometimes with some of the kids i'm teachign... had to make up ap bio for 4 kids tonight... cuz they had some speech competition on sunday... newayz i of course hadnt looked at the material yet... u have any idea how hard it is to remember meiosis in detail? oh man... hahah luckily my ability to read really fast came in handy... oh yeah i didnt have the answer book so i had to think of the answers myself lol... the horror!... so play's coming up soon... 3 days away... oh man i almost forgot though i get to see mr. jack johnson friday night :)... i heard that blackalicious is playing down in ucsd... if u're there u shoudl defintiley go see them... their new album is just incredible... hmm... oh yeah kfc corn... isnt that good haha that's what i had for snack today in between my work venue change... i think pretty soon i'll be able to make the trip blindfolded from the arcadia office to the san gabriel one haha... well maybe if there werent other cars on the rode as well haha... but right now i'm not liking it... i usualy have to drive over at 6... and right now that's exactly when the sunvisor is too high to block out the sun... so everyones pretty much blinded by this flaming ball of gas in our windshield... within in the last 2 weeks i've seen 4 minor accidents of people pulled off onto the side of the road, cuz one person hit anothers bumper from behind... speaking of getting hit... man i was THIS close to getting nailed on the freeway toady... was coming back and this pick up truck next to me decided it wanted to merge in to my lane... but i guess the driver wasnt in a habit of actually checking for an empty spot... so i see thsi truck starting to merge over.. and basically i'm drifting over too cuz i see him coming... and by this time he's already got his left two tires in my lane and still hasnt seen me... but some how i floored the gas and got into the next lane... i was really surprised the 4 cylinders picked up enough to do it... didnt even cut off the car coming up in the left lane :)... but yeah... i am amazed at the lameness of some people on the road... i need me a helicopter... no one to deal with then... except maybe birds... :-p...
10/7/02... 2:39 PM... dammit where's the clouds... it's gettign too hat again :(... spent almsot the entire day pretending to cook... it's more as if i am just an extra pair of hands for my mom, since i ask what to do pretty much all the time... and i keep running off to watch tv or play on the comp hehe... i'm amazed i didnt burn anything lol... ahh well another start of a week... stage rehearsal just went.. yesterday cant say it went well, i have no high hopes about next saturday :(... but hopefully everythgin will come together... :)... the place that we're renting for the puja is amazing though... man it's this really nice scottish catherdral (go figure) right in downtown pasadena... i figure it'd be cool to go out afterwards although i'm not exaclty in the position to broach the subject haha...:)... newayz time to get ready for work...
10/6/02... 1:31 pm... so guess what just doesnt taste so good at all... SPINACH SALAD... have no idea why ma & tulika wanted to make it, but i really wasnt too impressed at all... call me old-fashioned or soemthing, but i am just a really big fan of iceberg lettuce as being the base vegetable for salads :)... so another thing that is not fun at all... trying to fix a toilet at 4:30 in the morning :-p... really messes up ones sleep cycle haha... newayz got like 2 hours to kill b4 leaving for stage rehearsal... last rehearsal before go-time next saturday :-p... but i have a feeling it's gonna turn out to be a long evening, cuz i'll probalby get roped into helping dad with stuff after rehearsal, he jsut took off with all the speaker stuff (speaking of which, i wonder how old u have to be where it becomes necessary to lift with your knees and not with your back... i had to load up the car.. but i never lift with the knees, but i've never had back pain either... so i dunno... i'd like to think i'm pretty resillient still :)). ahhhh one thing though i'm really starting to dislike about kazaa... SOOOO many people have wrongly named files shared.... i mean here i'm trying to watch illegally videotaped in theater movies, and i end up downloading jsut a renamed austin powers or whatever... ahh u'd think people would delete them off their computer or something, so the top hits wouldnt be these fake copies... bah... ahh well there's always OHHHHHHHHHHHHH Good!... hehe go karl & mastershake, and frylock and meatwad :-p...

damn i'm soo bored lol... very uneventful but i guess it wasnt helping htat
i was feeling antisocial as well... eh wellz... tomorrow is a busy busy day...
get to be woken up early to load up the car with stereo equipment for tha pops
and and the got Dress Rehearsal in the afternoon... dang only a week away til
we perform.... and i really dont think everyone is even ready... i got it pretty
easy with my lines being not too long... but i've really kinda gotten nervous
about my time that i'm on stage... cuz for a lot of it i dont have lines i'm
just kinda chillin in the room listenign to the conversation among others...
and well i've not really been told what to do during that time so i just kinda
wing it the whole time and like i'm thnking should i react to all the dialogue
being said or should i just pretend to udnerstandonly part of it? cuz i'm supposed
to be this grandson from america... hmm i dunno so i justually have thsi stupid
grin on my face...also still ahve no idea waht the helli'im supposed to wear...

10/3/02... 11:35 PM... so i could really really go for a trip to diddie reeses for soem cookies and milk... havent been there in forever... so i found a new song that is my favorite at least for the next few days... it's some japanaese song called Rosier by a group called Luna Sea... this song rocks out pretty hard haha... but it's kinda in that slightly cheezy eighties synthesizeresque type playing but it's still funny hehe... heard it the ohter night when was having a beer at bishimon's... it just sounded really good that night haha... so i think i gotta start putting in a lot more prep time now for the kdis... sometimes it seems like i'm gettign by because i can only read ahead faster than them... oh well i dont think it's too bad i just am really rusty on ap bio and physics lol... 5th grade math i'm still kicking ass in lol... so i havent driven out to irvine a week now... i think this is my longest streak hehe... maybe i can remedy that situation tomorrow night perhaps... STEW... i'm a big fan of stew... had some for lunch today... it was delicious... although i'm sure one's liking to stew solely depends on the preparation of the stew... mmmm STEW...
